This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a professional Security Officer. Our program meets the requirements set forth by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Arizona law requires a person to obtain a 70% shooting accuracy to qualify for a firearms license! At ACE Security Management, we hold our employed armed Security Officers to proficiency standard of 90% accuracy rate for qualification.
Anyone with limited or no experience handling a firearm is encouraged to take this course. This course is designed to give the new shooter the basic fundamentals and principles needed to safely and effectively handle their firearm.
This course covers the use of Oleoresin Capsicum (O.C.) / Pepper Spray. For certification in (O.C. / Pepper Spray the student will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of de-escalation techniques, safe handling, and knowledge of legal use of force. This course can be taken independently, or as part of the 8-hour Security Defensive Tactics course.
This course covers handcuffing tactics and arrest procedures, and unarmed takedown techniques. Student will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of de-escalation techniques, detainment, and knowledge of legal use of force. This course can be taken independently, or as part of the 8-hour Security Defensive Tactics course.
This course covers straight, side-handle and expandable impact weapon (asp baton) techniques. Students will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of de-escalation techniques and knowledge of legal use of force. This course can be taken independently, or as part of the 8-hour Security Defensive Tactics course.
This course is taught by NRA certified instructors and fulfills the training requirement for the Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit. Our CCW classes cover legal principles and general firearm safety, and self-defense essentials.
Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations. AVERT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques on how to stop the bleed of victims.
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense.
This training program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in adult first aid and/or CPR AED for adult, child, and infant. This program includes flexible instructional tools for developing proficiency via demonstration and prompted practice, including scenario-based problem-solving exercises with feedback.
This program uses a step-by-step procedure and skill guide to provide guidance for assessing, prioritizing, and stopping life-threatening bleeding based on scientific evidence, national guidelines, and the consensus of experts.
This course covers wilderness and remote first aid from a basic understanding of emergency response in an outdoor setting to specific techniques and considerations for a wide range of injuries and illnesses.
